Call for Submissions and Editors for Inaugural Issue


Poetrysky is the first bilingual poetry website in the world publishing both English and Chinese versions of poetry. It was recently founded by Yidan Han, a Chinese poet based in Providence, Rhode Island. She is the author of two books of poetry, Standing against the Wind (1993) and Selected Poems of Green Voice (2004) which has bilingual versions. She is the winner of the 2003 Maier Writing Award in the US and a number of poetry awards in China.

Poetrysky is a professional platform for the poetic exchange between Chinese, American and English poets. The website columns include Poetry Quarterly, Interviews, Critic's column, Book Review, and a forum to develop and exchange ideas or share views, etc. Poetry Quarterly publishes poems in both English and Chinese, while Interviews, Critic's column and Forum are available in either language.

Deadline for the first issue: January 31, 2005.
